In early December '07, we were pleasantly surprised to hear from Brain Games™ Magazine (BGM).  (See our links page.)  Their Aquisitions Editor just happened to stumble upon our website, and liked what she saw.  We sent some samples which their print editors liked, and the rest is history!

 

BGM requested publication rights to 25 of our puzzles, of varying skill levels.  We completed our first contract with Publications International, BGM's parent company, in January '08.  Composers for this first batch were: David L. Brown (our chief collaborator, and graphics wiz), Colleen Meinking and Dan Meinking (your humble correspondents).

 

This week we were thrilled to receive our advance copies of Brain Games™ #6!  Image below:

Brain Games™ #6 is a beautifully produced collection of puzzles of all types and skill levels.  This spiral-bound gem is 192 pages, and contains roughly 150 puzzles -- everything from crosswords to Sudokus to Word Ladders to Scramblegrams.  And let's not forget Alpha Sleuth®.  :-)  There's something for puzzle buffs of every persuasion!  Puzzles are arranged in progressive sections, "Level 1" (the easiest) to "Level 5" (the hardest), with full solutions and index in back.  The book emphasizes "exercising your brain" and tracking your progress.
